Every neighborhood keeps a ledger somewhere. A drawer of receipts, a stack of permission slips, the fine print nobody reads until the porch light goes dark and someone wants their money back.
This is ours.
By ordering a Boo Bag, submitting a Decorated Home, submitting a Community Event, or using this website, you agree to these terms. Read them. They’re intentionally short.
Halloween Homes
The Halloween Homes Map exists to help neighbors discover and enjoy Halloween displays throughout the community.
Submitting your home is completely voluntary.
Every submission is reviewed before it appears on the website.
Submitting a home does not guarantee publication.
By submitting a Halloween Home, you confirm that you are the homeowner or have permission to represent the property.
Display hours, descriptions, photographs, and other information are provided by the person submitting the listing and may change throughout the season.
Ghosts of Woodforest may edit submissions for spelling, formatting, clarity, or consistency without changing their intended meaning.
Listings may be updated or removed at any time at the request of the homeowner or at our discretion.
Community Events
Community Events are intended to help neighbors discover seasonal activities happening throughout the area.
By submitting an event, you confirm that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
We review every submission before publication.
Ghosts of Woodforest does not organize, sponsor, supervise, or guarantee any submitted event unless explicitly stated.
Event schedules, locations, and details may change without notice. Visitors should verify information with the event organizer whenever possible.
The Boo Bag
Each Boo Bag is delivered by hand to the address you provide within our current delivery area.
Delivery windows are listed during the ordering process and may vary throughout the Halloween season.
All sales are final.
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
Addresses are the buyer’s responsibility. If something was entered incorrectly, let us know as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to correct it before delivery, but we can’t promise we’ll catch every mistake.
Boo Bags are handmade seasonal items produced in limited quantities. Once they’re gone, they’re gone until next season.
Photos & Submitted Content
If you upload photographs or other content to Ghosts of Woodforest, you confirm that you own the material or have permission to share it.
By submitting content, you grant Ghosts of Woodforest permission to display it as part of your approved listing or event.
Ownership of your photographs and original content remains yours.
We reserve the right to decline, edit, or remove submitted content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, misleading, offensive, or unrelated to the purpose of this website.
What Belongs to Us
The ghost.
The other figures who walk beside her.
The cards, the names, the stories stitched underneath all of it.
The artwork, illustrations, maps, logos, graphics, photographs we create, website design, and original written content were built here, by hand, and remain the property of Ghosts of Woodforest.
You’re welcome to photograph your Boo Bag, tag your porch, tell the story to your kids at the door, and share your experience.
You’re not welcome to reproduce, sell, redistribute, or commercially use our artwork, stories, characters, trading cards, downloadable materials, or branding without permission.
If you’d like to use something, ask first.
We say yes more often than you’d think.
The Neighborhood Part
Ghosts of Woodforest is an independent community project created by a resident for residents.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated on behalf of Woodforest’s homeowners association, developer, property management, or any governmental organization.
Nothing on this website should be interpreted as official neighborhood guidance or policy.
The Unavoidable Part
This website and everything on it are provided as-is.
We are not responsible for weather, cancellations, incorrect addresses submitted by users, inaccurate event information, temporary website outages, mapping errors, third-party service interruptions, or Halloween decorations that disappear before you arrive.
We do our best to keep everything accurate and current, but things change.
Texas law governs any dispute that can’t be settled over a fence.

These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy.
As Ghosts of Woodforest grows, these terms may occasionally be updated to reflect new features, community programs, or seasonal changes.
